One Piece is an anime and manga series created by Eiichiro Oda. It follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy who, inspired by his childhood idol Robin Hood, goes on a quest to become King of the Pirates aboard his boat called The Straw Hat Pirate Ship- and with that status comes great responsibility! One Piece has been running for decades now but still continues to be one of the most loved titles in popular culture today.,

The “top 10 strongest one piece characters 2021” is a ranking of the top 20 best one piece characters. The rankings are based on the strength and power of each character.

One Piece is the anime that boasts the most memorable, badass, and hilarious characters.

These characters are odd, yet they aren’t boring. We can both laugh at and identify with them.

Oda’s characterisation abilities are excellent.

One Piece isn’t the world’s second most popular manga for nothing. What would it look like if we ranked some of the most well-known One Piece characters?

Here’s a list of our favorite selections.

Note that I won’t be include any of the big characters, such as Luffy or Nami, so we’ll be concentrating on lesser-known people.

20. Oden Kozuki

This samurai was once one of the world’s most powerful men. He was a guy of dignity and integrity.

Isn’t it ironic that he became a pirate?

He may have been a pirate, but he discovered love and went on to become a caring father and husband.

Oden was a bumbling fool, but that was part of what drew people to him.

There will be no one else who is as comparable to him (cough Yamato cough).

Rayleigh Silvers (19.)

Silvers Rayleigh One Piece anime screenshot

If the moniker “Dark King” doesn’t scream “badass,” I’m not sure what does.

He’s also known as the “Right Hand of the Pirate King.” After hearing such epithets, I’d be afraid of this pirate…

He also has the necessary strength to back it up.

He was also one of the most powerful swordsmen in his peak.

What I mean is that, even at his age, he is still a force to be reckoned with. Rayleigh, despite his retirement, will undoubtedly play a part in the last act of One Piece.

Dracule Mihawk, number 18

Dracule Mihawk in One Piece anime

Mihawk has a “don’t mess with me” vibe.

And he is correct in projecting an aura. After all, he is the finest swordsman on the planet.

Isn’t it true that the finest swordsman requires a sword as long as they are?

But, putting that title aside for a moment, let’s take a look at something other than his strength: his attire.

Let’s face it, Mihawk is the most dripping pirate on the Grand Line. Who doesn’t like a gothic vampire hunter, right?

Take a look at that mustache, for example!

Marshall D. Teach, No. 17

Marshall D. Teach from One Piece anime

Scum of the seven seas, also known as Blackbeard.

This guy, in my opinion, is the purest pirate of them all. True to a real-life pirate, not to the heart.

Blackbeard isn’t the most popular figure in history (although he did rank 46 in the world popularity poll).

However, you can’t claim you didn’t like him after meeting him in that Jaya bar. His ideas were a wonderful fit for Luffy’s:

“A man’s dream is immortal!”

Then we saw the darkness he was hiding underneath…

Yeah, he’s no longer likable.

16. Marco

Marco One Piece anime screenshot

This tale, along with his famed devil fruit, will go on forever. His tiny roles as a supporting character merely hint at what he might achieve in a full-fledged combat.

Fortunately, that may soon change.

If you’re a fan of the anime, you’ll be pleased to learn that he’ll play a significant part in this raid. We’ll have no trouble mending our crew thanks to his legendary devil fruit talent.

Law, Marco, and Chopper are three medics on the samurai’s side.

To be honest, I wish Marco had mentored Chopper throughout the time jump. I understand he was dealing with the aftermath of the war, but maybe teaching Chopper was a way for him to invest his cards in the Strawhat Pirates.

Marco would have fit in well with the rest of the Strawhats’ instructors.

Zoro was given the world’s finest swordsman as a sparring partner, while Luffy was given the Pirate King’s right hand man and Chopper was given a library.

Bartholomew Kuma is the fifteenth member of the Kuma family.

Bartholomew Kuma in One Piece anime

Kuma is a scary guy when we first meet him.

After what he did to the strawhats in Thriller Bark, we don’t like him. As we learn more about Kuma, though, we grow to like him a lot more.

This likability pattern is diametrically opposed to Blackbeard’s: both have extremely amazing devil fruits.

And the paw-paw fruit is a top-tier devil fruit with near-infinite potential.

Even though Kuma was actually a wonderful man, he was mainly employed as an enemy in the series.

I hope that one day we will be able to see him revert to his previous self and meet him as an old friend.

Charlotte Katakuri, 14

Charlotte Katakuri from One Piece anime

Katakuri is a fantastic guy that uses little words, but his deeds scream louder than his words.

And Katakuri was Luffy’s unofficial mentor. Luffy was essentially taught how to employ advanced observation haki by him.

He’s even the greatest big brother in the Charlotte family, and a strong contender for the series’ best elder brother.

Because of his kind attitude, he is the favorite of his siblings.

How will he utilize his enormous power for the Charlotte family now that he’s met Luffy?

13. Kuzan

Kuzan One Piece anime screenshot

Kuzan has been a mystery since we first encountered him on Long Ring Long Land Island.

Kuzan’s (previously known as Aokiji) genuine thoughts are never exposed to us or anyone else. He’s associated with the Blackbeard pirates for some inexplicable reason?

What we do know is that although he isn’t fully a villain, he does have his own set of principles and objectives that he adheres to.

Aokiji also includes a devil fruit that is linked to ice, which is a crucial ingredient.

The last time we saw someone carrying a devil fruit containing one of the four fundamental ingredients, the whole pirate world as we knew it was turned upside down.

I’m not referring to Caribou. Pica is another option.

Not to mention Crocodile, though that is questionable.

Bentham, no. 12

Bentham from One Piece anime

Bentham has to be one of the finest One Piece characters of all time, right?

He came to Luffy’s rescue three times. The importance of Bentham and his Devil Fruit talent cannot be overstated.

In the Wano arc, I was overjoyed to see his Clone-Clone Fruit. It was a pleasant return call to Alabasta.

Bentham will undoubtedly play a role in the future conflict, and I’m happy for that.

Bellemere is number eleven.

Bellemere in One Piece anime

Bellemere is undoubtedly One Piece’s most relatable mother.

We saw her trials and pains in raising two impoverished stepchildren. That covers three topics that many people may relate to: single motherhood, step-relationships, and poverty.

Bellemere’s demonstration of love for her children is what elevates her to a 10/10 parent in my book.

Her style accounts for the remaining 9 points. That hair is just stunning.

10. Buggy

Buggy One Piece anime screenshot

What is it about Buggy that you don’t like?

He’s one of the series’ funniest characters, and he’s voiced by an incredible performer.

And Buggy has one of the series’ greatest devil fruits. To be honest, the Chop-Chop Fruit is so adaptable that you could have handed it to Luffy instead of the Rubber-Rubber Fruit and he would have destroyed his opponents just as well.

To be honest, I believe Buggy will be the ultimate stumbling block in Luffy’s quest to become the Pirate King.

Who knows how powerful he’s become in recent years.

Garp, Monkey D.

Monkey D. Garp from One Piece anime

Luffy, the marines, and the planet owe Garp a debt of gratitude.

At this point, I have no choice but to include him on my list as a hero. He stood up to one of history’s greatest pirates by fighting with one of history’s greatest pirates.

Garp is in desperate need of more screen time (like many other characters).

I’d want to see him flex on these pirate scumbags a little more.

I’m curious as to which side he’ll support during the Final War…

Doflamingo Donquixote

Donquixote Doflamingo in One Piece anime

Doffy is one of the finest anime villains we’ve ever seen. His ruthlessness, combined with the power to back it up, makes him the ideal villain.

He is, nonetheless, a negotiator. He isn’t only about using force to get what he wants.

His antics have a strategy to them.

But it’s his past that I like the most, since it adds a layer of complexity to his character.

Doffy comes off as a genuine individual who isn’t simply there to watch the world burn (ironic because his nickname is Joker).

7. Jinbe

Jinbe One Piece anime screenshot

Jinbe’s uncle is someone I wish I had. He’d provide me life advise and assist me with everything I needed.

Jinbe is a formidable defender and the ideal rearguard. In addition, his talent to control water is unrivaled.

Jinbe doesn’t need medications to improve himself— he’s all about talent and technique.

Consider what Jinbe would be like if he were a Pokémon.

Because I’d chose him in every game, I’d never have a chance to play the other starters.

6. Rosinante Donquixote

Donquixote Rosinante in One Piece anime

I know what you’re thinking: why is Rosinante ranked higher than Doflamingo?

Isn’t it obvious that I’m biased?

Well, not quite. Allow me to explain.

Doffy outperforms Corazon in practically every category, including strength/ability, relevance, and maybe drip (though this is questionable).

But I ranked Corazon ahead of his brother since Rosinante strikes in a different way.

Doffy’s narrative comes to a close when he kills his father. However, Corazon’s journey does not come to a conclusion until he dies for Law.

Doffy, without a doubt, has stronger battle sequences and speech lines. Corazon, on the other hand, is a better character than the Heavenly Demon. I understand that some of you prefer villainy than altruism, and that’s just great.

Corazon, on the other hand, is the sort of guy who deserves so much more than he received.

If Doflamingo hadn’t shot him in the chest, he may have gone on to be a successful marine.

Okay, so I’ll admit that I’m a bit prejudiced.

5. Makino

Makino from One Piece anime

I must be insane to place Makino towards the top of this list.

But tell me, who is the first waifu we’ve seen in the anime, the original waifu? (If you mention Alvida, I swear…)

It was Makino, that’s for sure.

She’s the only villagers we’ve encountered who seem to get along with Shanks (probably the father of her child too). She was the young lady who looked after Luffy, Ace, and Sabo.

Makino was a fantastic role model for each of these legendary figures.

Wait, if she has a kid, and those children are Luffy, Ace, and Sabo….

… I’m curious as to what type of child they’ll be…

4. Vivi Nefertari

Nefertari Vivi One Piece anime screenshot

Vivi is a queen in every sense of the word. Literally.

She not only possesses the blood of a “Celestial Dragon,” but she is also a wonderful person who was a member of a criminal gang and the pirate crew of the future pirate king.

She could obtain any job she wanted with that résumé!

Vivi, on the other hand, is one of the greatest (if not the best) commanders in One Piece.

Her positive demeanor, kindness, and knowledge inspire viewers, yet she also reveals her flaws.

Nico Robin is number three.

Nico Robin in One Piece anime

Robin’s spot in this list is well-deserved. She’s the focal point of not one, but TWO of the series’ most memorable arcs, with a third arc in the works (as of this writing).

Robin is critical to locating the show’s namesake, the one piece.

Without her, our possibilities for deciphering the poneglyphs, the stones that point us to the one piece, are severely restricted.

Robin’s devil fruit ability is also quite innovative and entertaining.

Now it seems like we’ll finally see more of Robin fighting throughout the attack.

‘But, apart from her power and abilities, Robin is also One Piece’s best girl.’ Enough said.

D. Water Law, Trafalgar

Trafalgar D. Water Law from One Piece anime

Law’s first name was always difficult for me to pronounce as a child.

I’ve seen grownups struggle with the name Trafalgar since it’s such a tough word to say.

However, it didn’t stop me from ranking him second on this list.

In One Piece, Trafalgar is quite active.

Only Luffy could have matched his desire to defeat someone much more strong than him (like Doflamingo or Kaido).

Despite the fact that he isn’t an official part of the Strawhat crew, Law was given two entire arcs in which he played the primary role.

Oda lavished love and care on Law, and even the fans adore him.

The reputation of the Surgeon of Death precedes him.

Sogeking 1

Sogeking One Piece anime screenshot

The Sniper King was born on sniper island.

He rescues people who are in need.

Sogeking is a bold hero who faces danger with courage. The Sniper King and the Pirate King are on the same level.

Haki’s Observation goes well beyond what humans are capable of.

But there’s one thing that makes Sogeking the finest character in One Piece, and it outshines everything else about our hero.

Sogeking is the only character in One Piece that has their own theme song (with accompanying graphics).

Remember, if you ever want the assistance of the Sniper King, seek into your heart!
